Sea / Salt Water Lantern

LED Green Lantern is LED Lighting which only needs to be  filled width salt water or sea water to run the led light.

     Is  a  GREEN  technology  called  metal  air  fuel  cell, this lantern  uses seawater or saltwater to generate  electricity,  requiring  no batteries, or rechargeable batteries,  or fuel, to power the LED  give about 210 lumens of illumination, in almost every environment, as long as there is oxygen.

     To  use it  just add to each cell (total 2 cells) 380 cc of water,  mix with 18gr salt (about 2 spoons) into  a  mixing  bottle  (in  package),  shake  and   pour into each cell (each cell filled with 1 bottle of saline  solution)  the  lantern  can be used for  up to 8 hours. After 8 hours this lantern will continue to work, all the way up to 100 hours before the magnesium rod should be replaced, as long as water is replaced every 8 hours.

     Inside  there  are two magnesium fuel rods which serves as the power electrode (anode) and is replaceable after use for about 100 hours, because it is slowly shrinking as the magnesium oxidized to generate the electricity.

     This  lantern  also  equipped with a USB port, so you can recharge your mobile phone’s battery.  You may  choose  between  the  lighting  or charging the mobile phones, but not at the same time as the lantern may need sufficient energy for each features.

     

     LED  Green  Lantern  generate  DC  electricity  which   is   clean, environmentally   friendly,  no pollution,  non-toxic  and  safe.  No  materials  and  component  that  can cause fire accident, making  the whole process very safe even for children. 

     Fuel Cell is an electric cell that generates electricity by absorbing oxygen in the air, where the salt water acts as the electrolyte in the cell, which uses Magnesium rod as the anode(-), and a sheet of carbon as a cathode(+), Magnesium rod will slowly oxidized exhausted by electrolysis as the magnesium ions travel to the the cathode, so continue to produce electricity.

  Lantern  design  has  been  serve  multiple  purposes, on fishing purpose, it can float on water attract fishes, for camping, during holiday, and great for emergencies when electrical power may not be found.

     Without activation by pouring the saltwater in, the dry LED Green Lantern can be stored away  and still be available for operation within five years. After five years, checking is required to test the validity.
